As the longest running FREE ADMISSION balloon event in the state of Iowa, and one of the largest events in Southeast Iowa, we're excited to celebrate our 47th year. Enjoy a large carnival, hot air balloons, food vendors, fireworks, live music, and so much more! Don't miss out on the fun.

Looking for a place to stay during our event (June 18-22)? Consider the Ottumwa Park Campground! They are accepting reservations until May 31st, and spots are limited, so don’t wait to secure your spot. Enjoy the convenience of staying on-site for just $20 a night/$140 for the week. Event cheat sheet! For everyone who is out of towners, first timers or returning attenders! Thanks to the Ottumwa Walking Paths we can utilize the mall parking and we have the path over to the park. As well as the tunnel under the highway from the dog park There will be many activities going on during our event June 18-22!
